(More customer reviews)This is just junk.I purchaced this on sale, thinking that Kitchenaid was synonymous with Quality.Not this time.It balks as soon as a potato was even with the height of the blade.Being a stubborn man, I leaned on it and it started to move again.Little did I know that the metal blades were slicing through the flimsy plastic instead of the potato.The apple slicer worked much better, lasting 4 apples before breaking, instead of 1 potato.The item won't slice, but it will break.It looks very nice, so it is only suitible for giving to annoying relatives that get you cheap crap for Christmas.Don't expect to get any use out of it.
