(More customer reviews)the knives are not sharp. it works for an amateur cook like me who use it for only very basic cutting. and i am glad that it is blunt in case i cut myself. but if you are a more experienced cook, i would imagine this to be totally inadequate. but a great price for 5 basic knives.
