(More customer reviews)To put it as plainly as possible... A Knork is a fork with a medium-sharp cutting edge that allows you to rock-cut meats and other cuttable foods. You simply rock the Knork's edge over the meat to cut it (like an ordinary fork cutting through hard pie crust). The edges are not sharp enough to cut your mouth. It is VERY well made and feels great in the hand with absolutely no hard points or edges to dig into your hand. It is weighted oddly with what appears to be more than 50% of the weight in the handle, and it's VERY heavy for a fork. Due to this, there is a problem that sounds easy to avoid, but it's actually not.... at at least for my family members; when you're done eating, and you go to clean up, if the Knork isn't 100% (totally) on your empty plate or in your hand when you bring it into the kitchen, it WILL absolutely fall on the floor. Even if you tilt the plate slightly, it will go flying off your plate and head for your feet. Our Knorks have hit the floor 1000 times since we owned them.
