(More customer reviews)We have been on a pizza kick lately and I got tired of finding ways to get my pizza's from the counter to the stone. This peel is not only gorgeous to look at but it works too.
Make sure to put cornmeal on the peel and don't make your pizza on it too far in advance of putting it in the oven. Other than that it will slide off just fine.

(More customer reviews)This block is gorgeous and the photo doesn't do it justice.I was enamored with it when I took it out of the box and couldn't wait to fill it with my knives.Sadly, my chef's knives don't fit.I have 2 10" chef's knives and this block is neither deep enough nor has wide enough slots to accommodate them.Maybe my knives our larger than the average household, I don't know.They are standard fare for the restaurant industry and what I'm used to.I had a hard time finding any other block that would hold my knives so likely this block is standard and I'm the oddball.

If you do the research on the slot sizes and this block accommodates your knives, I think you will be very happy.

This product arrived to me EXACTLY as described. Suits my needs wonderfully, is attractive and useful and WHAT a value! The shears and honing rod alone are worth what we paid! I am so glad we ordered this. We're slowly building out Wusthof collection and this is so perfect for us!

(More customer reviews)Yes it is just a large block of wood with slots cut in, but if you have a large collection of Henckel knives and outgrew your block or have a few random knives you would like to store together with your set, then this block is the way to go. Looks good on the counter, knives go in on their side, room for a medium cleaver, steel, and shears, as well as 8 steak knives.
