(More customer reviews)our other paring knife is a Henckel professional. The Kyocera is definitely sharper, even after we sharpen the Henckel. Both are good paring knives, yet my husband and I both prefer the Kyocera. This is our only ceramic knife and we would recommend it to anyone.(actually, we gave it as a gift to a good friend who is a chef, and he also loves it)It looks super cool, too! :)
I rated it 4 out of 5 b/c our friend's knife broke at the handle when he was cutting Brussels sprouts.(Amazon was quick to exchange it)

Product Description:
Kyocera's premium cutlery line features stunning Damascus-look blades. Close in hardness to diamond, these advanced ceramic knifes feature Kyotop (Hot- Isostatic pressed) "HIP" blades. These blades are fired a second time under high pressure and temperature in a sealed chamber. This process increases the density of the advanced ceramic material, resulting in greater wear resistance. The moisture-resistant, 3 riveted handles are made out of Pakka wood. The 4.5 inch blade slices, cuts, chops, and peels.
