(More customer reviews)This set may be a promotional offer from Henckels but it defies logic that it's so inexpensive. While looking for cheese knives I saw a set of three knives from Wusthof that had identical blades to this Henckels set but with three rivet polymer handles and sold for 200 dollars. I consider both manufacturers to be equal quality at this level of their product lines. This Henckels set is no compromise, being not only typical "Twin" quality and of course made in Germany but it's exquisitely beautiful. The photo here on Amazon does not do the set justice. The blades are forged and the stainless steel handles are hefty and comfortable. The handle flows from the forged blade so well it looks like a single piece of steel. The satin brushed finish is a fine aesthetic touch and the ergonomics are perfectly formed to match the way a hand would hold the knife. They are extremely high quality, don't be fooled by the low price.

We've used all three at this point and they work just as you would expect from the high-end of Henckels line. Five stars and enthusiastic recommendations. Treat yourself to a surprisingly good deal.
