(More customer reviews)The product arrived before the deadline but to my surprise only one piece of the set arrived.I waited a day to see if the others were being shipped separately and then called the company.They made an error and after talking to the product manager, he sent out the rest of the set.Apparently he talked to the company who makes the product who also sent me almost a complete set, so my 9 piece set turned into 18...for the same price as the original 9 piece set.

Bakertowne Thick & Thin Cheese Slicer Review

(More customer reviews)I LOVE this item. It makes perfect, uniform cheese slices - something I have never been able to accomplish with a knife, cheese plane, or wire cutter attached to a board. I bought one at my local Kitchen Outlet over a decade ago and fell in love. The only downside is that it's a little flimsy with a life expectancy of about one year. It's so inexpensive that I didn't mind buying a new one once a year. But then my local kitchen outlet stopped carrying it.

I bought a similar item from a different manufacturer that cost about twice as much and it broke while I was cutting my first slice of cheese! Don't settle for anything less than the original Thick & Thin Cheese Slicer! It's the best :)

This will be my annual birthday present to myself. I am so happy to find this product again.

(More customer reviews)I like this slicer, its been great, had this for 2 to 3 yrs already, very good, and also has replacement wire, but the wire to cut cheese is very good, probally wont need one for a long time,
so excellant slicer, for almost anything, easy to clean even like the cutting board for other things like tomatos and cucumbers and etc. so in conclusion this is best I've ever had thanks Prodyne.

(More customer reviews)Admittedly, bartending is not an area of expertise for me; I've never done it professionally. Although I haven't really used other shakers extensively, I've tried, and don't like, the 3 part kind. This one is cheap, and easy to use. The seal is good; no need for a rubber edge on the glass. What more do you need? It was remarked in the review of another Boston shaker that the drink recipes on the glass obscure the measurement scale. Not really. This glass has both oz. and mls. I find that the recipes are a good reminder of classic combos, good departure points for creative mixing. (I don't like full strength cocktails, and usually dilute the alcohol 1:2 with fresh squeezed fruit or vegetable juices.)

(More customer reviews)Since the reviews about broken wires were both written well over 1-2 years ago, I thought surely the problem had been corrected.Why would a company continue to sell a broken product?Well, apparently this company is perfectly fine doing just that!Like previous posters, the wire on my board arrived broken. There is no damage to the packing, so it is not a shipping issue.I ordered this product for a Superbowl party in a few days.Obviously I cannot use it.I haven't been able to find a number, just an address, so I can't even complain about it today.DO NOT ORDER THIS PRODUCT!!!!!!!!!

Amazon...wake up and quit allowing your customers to buy this item.It reflects poorly on you.
