I use it for cutting anything with a hard rind.It's great for watermelon, squash, carrots, celery, potatoes, and jicima. It also makes fun shapes and provides interest for the kids. The handle is very comfortable and you can get the leverage you need for tough cutting, better than trying to put you hand on the other end of a knife to cut through fruits and vegetables.
Very economical and practical. Would highly recommend.
