(More customer reviews)I'll admit, I bought them for a somewhat 'off-label' purpose - cutting up pasta and the like for my children. The double blade does this far more efficiently than my regular kitchen shears, and the scoop/bowl shape head makes it more effective too. But, the deciding factor for me: the package claims these ARE "dishwasher safe."

Saving time cutting up the food isn't much of a helper if I have to spend the time handwashing! So far, these are a winner!
