(More customer reviews)Highly recommended; nicely weighted and ergonomically-shaped with high quality blades and beautiful wood handles and presentation/storage box. The only negative is that the knives should be hand-washed and never put in dishwasher to preserve the wood handles, but that's a small price to pay for such beautiful and well-made steak knives. I lucked out and bought two sets (total 8 knives)at Marshall's for less than the price of one set on Amazon.

(More customer reviews)These steak knives are great!They cut all kinds of meats easily and smoothly.I disagree with the other reviewer.These knives are made of stainless steel, but all steel as it ages will develop some rust/aging.Be sure to hand wash and towel dry the knives, and they will last a long time.Right now these are hard to find.I hope they continue to make and sell them, as I would like to add more to my set.

(More customer reviews)My old steak knives were flimsy and worn so when I shopped for new ones I wanted knives that were solidly made by a top-rated company like Henckels. The price was right so I bought two sets. I think I should have bought 3 sets. They are always sharp and my guests remark on the quality of the knives at meals. I even use them sometimes when I am doing prep work. These would be a great gift item too.

(More customer reviews)Oh, dear God, I love these knives. Their weight in your hand is hefty without being tiring. The blades are sharp, precise, and easy to handle. And do they slice? I mean -- and do they SLICE!!!
After each meal, I hand-wash these instruments and give them a quick touch of the sharpening stone. I then gently, very gently, place them back into their case for safekeeping. Is it any wonder my fiancé is jealous?
I do have one complaint -- I only have four of these knives. I'm going to need at least eight more for the grilling I plan to do next summer. I mean, it's going to take a big patio party to properly show off these fine blades.
