(More customer reviews)This thing is great.I just received my chef pak and filled it up.IT really holds a lot of stuff and the knife case is so much better than my old one that the school gave me.Surprisingly not heavy when you wear it.Must be all the padding. I don't have a laptop but will be getting one soon and this can hold that too.Would recommend to any chef who carrys more than just knives.

Very well built and the side flaps stop any thing from falling out the ends.
I would definitely recommend this case to any one looking to store and protect their knifes.

All 3 compartments are accessible from one zipper, so you don't need 7 sq feet of space to open it all the way & find what you're looking for...the only downside of that is that you're hanging all your hopes on one zipper & if it fails you you're sunk! But it feels strong and secure. Everything from my old Koobi Kit (whose zippers DID fail me) fit neatly inside, so it's roomy....can't wait to get out there and break it in!

(More customer reviews)The storage case is basically a workable solution.It has a hard outer shell that may be good for added protection in some situations.However, I have blade protectors and therefore I can only use 8 of the 10 knife slots.

Additionally, the knife slots are not always wide enough to hold the larger knives.
