(More customer reviews)This thing is great.I just received my chef pak and filled it up.IT really holds a lot of stuff and the knife case is so much better than my old one that the school gave me.Surprisingly not heavy when you wear it.Must be all the padding. I don't have a laptop but will be getting one soon and this can hold that too.Would recommend to any chef who carrys more than just knives.

(More customer reviews)I needed something that would allow me to take multiple kitchen sized knives to outdoor barbeque competitions.I have a set of knives that include a 12" slicer and a 13" steel.I needed to be able to keep my knives clean and protected from the outdoors, and be compact when not in use as space is a premium at these events.
This roll is exactly as it looks.LOTS of room for even more than I carry, and a very rugged, tough exterior.Stitching seems to be tough, and the fabric is nice and thick.Fully loaded with knives, it rolls down to about 5 inches in diameter, and has both a handle and shoulder strap.The slots hold the knives firmly with enough of the handle sticking out that you can grab one without having to grasp the blade, and while they are snug and won't fall out, I found that you could pull a knife with two fingers.
If you need to bring a knife set with you for whatever reason, I've never seen a better way to carry them for the price, or even at 3 times the price.I have a few outdoor cooking friends that will be getting this knife roll as a present this year.

(More customer reviews)These are forged knives. I'm a new chef and this is my first knife set, so I can't really compare them to anything. They are very sharp and my college professor (at a chef school) said they look like good knives. They are high quality and this is a great price. I had a local chef supply compay order them in for me so I could look at them and they wanted to sell them to me for $225! Then I said I found them online for $120 so they gave them to me for that price.

(More customer reviews)Was nervous about ordering this because there were no reviews, so allow me to be the first to say that this is a great product! All 3 compartments are accessible from one zipper, so you don't need 7 sq feet of space to open it all the way & find what you're looking for...the only downside of that is that you're hanging all your hopes on one zipper & if it fails you you're sunk! But it feels strong and secure. Everything from my old Koobi Kit (whose zippers DID fail me) fit neatly inside, so it's roomy....can't wait to get out there and break it in!

(More customer reviews)For it to be a Global product I was kind of disappointed. The fabric/material the roll was made of was great. The design works in theory. However, where it fails is its knife pockets. The pockets are way too small and close together. Keeping the knives bunched up. Overall its fine, but not worth the high cost.
